THE recent recession changed the business environment completely. During this time, consumers' discretionary spending was reduced. Providing quality products or services at a reasonable price was not enough to draw customers in. To retain business, simply discounting every item was not the way to be financially prudent.

MindWave took it as an opportunity to introduce low-cost, recurring, OPEX based (monthly fee) solutions and services. By changing business strategies, we were left least impacted. MindWave was also able to capitalise on companies that wanted to cut costs by outsourcing their IT.

Today, cloud computing promises to transform the competitive advantage for a business by changing the potential speed of IT services provisioning from weeks to hours. Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
